Camfil, has won the ‘most innovative product or service’ award from Norland Managed Services for their energy audit and installation of Low Energy Air Filters at Norland’s end-user site.

The project involved the award-winning Low Energy Air Filters (Hi-Flo M7 F7 Bag Filter) – Improving air quality, reducing waste, energy consumption and CO2 emissions and delivering savings of over £35,000 on the existing filter installation at a Norland site.

Norland is recognised as one of the leading facilities, energy and project management providers in the UK & Ireland with revenues of £450m.  Norland’s strategy to deliver exceptional service to customers is hugely dependent on the capability and delivery of more than 1500 supply partners from whom they aim to drive best value, innovation and exceptional performance.  The Norland Supply Partner Awards are in their third year and reward excellent performance from their supply chain.

Bill Wilkinson Camfil Managing Director said:

“Norland are a world class organisation that is serious about sustainability and innovation right through their supply chain.  By having the foresight in embracing forward thinking organisations such as Camfil, they can achieve two key objectives, something that is essential to human being, Clean Air at the most economical cost.  We are delighted to have been given such a prestigious award”

“This prioritised energy-reduction project on this site demonstrates that significant savings can be achieved by working in partnership with trusted suppliers who deliver what was promised at the outset.  The Hi-Flo M7 Low Energy Air Filters from Camfil provided significant energy reduction which assists us in achieving our client driven goals.”

Camfil recently launched a certification scheme for buildings that promote clean indoor air quality through the selection and application of comfort air filtration.  This building managed by Norland has been identified for an ‘Excellence in Indoor Air Quality Certificate’. The Certificate has ‘air system star quality points’ based on the correct use of comfort air filtration and also that recommendations given by BSI EN 13779:2007 for air filters classed by BSI EN 779:2012 have been consistently implemented in all the building areas.
