End User Group

Welcome to the FMA End User Group

The purpose of having an end user group is to contribute to the continued improvement of facilities services for both end-users and suppliers, through discussing and communicating priorities and expectations of the end-user to the FMA supplier firm membership. Exchanging these thoughts in dialogue with suppliers at the annual FMA conference helps all parties in gaining a more detailed understanding the challenges faced in FM.

How does the End User Group Work?

Chaired by Guy Stallard – Head of Facilities at KPMG, the End User Group consists of representatives from various sectors such as banking, legal, insurance, media and charity. Discussions are held on a quarterly basis to discuss a range of topics such as service delivery, innovation, strategic facilities management, amongst others. A core focus of the group is to share ideas, knowledge and best practise which in turn will strengthen the value of the profession.

What have we done?

On the 23rd May 2013, at the FMA annual conference, the end user group presented the outputs from its meetings and set the stage for a popular and engaging debate on the issues raised. This provided an opportunity for clients and suppliers to share their experiences and express their opinions in an open environment, with other practitioners.  Click here to view the slides that were debated at the conference.

Through the use of social media we have been able to engage with other members of the Facilities community to create a platform for debate, awareness and interest on a number of issues within the industry
