Indepth Hygiene is the UK's leading specialist duct cleaning company. Indepth Hygiene assist major organisations and companies in the Public and Private sectors to meet their obligations to exercise 'due diligence' and a 'duty of care' as required by health & safety and fire safety legislation.

Our services are provided in accordance with the Building & Engineering Services Association's (B&ES) industry standard, TR19 and the British and European Standard BS EN 15780:2001 Ventilation for Buildings- Ductwork- Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems. We are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001/2000, Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and SAFEcontractor, a member of the Heating & Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA), the Fire Protection Association and Constructionline.

Key Services include:

The Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations require building owners and managers to ensure that enclosed workplaces are ventilated with fresh and purified air and that, where this is provided by a mechanical system, it be regularly maintained, inspected and cleaned and a suitable record kept to support this requirement.

The lack of maintenance and cleaning of air conditioning systems has been shown to assist the development and spread of hospital associated infections such as MRSA. Similarly, it is a major contributor to staff sickness by helping to spread common infections in the workplace. In order to ensure that conditions for building occupants are comfortable and safe there is a 'duty of care' requirement that ventilation systems are kept clean.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force on October 1st 2006. Our specialist deep cleaning services for grease extract ventilation systems assists building owners and managers to comply with their legal obligations by ensuring these high fire risk installations are not a potential safety hazard to building occupants.

Apart from our primary responsibility to deliver professional, fully effective services, we are aware of the need to assist companies and organisations to contain costs and keep maintenance budgets under control. To this end, we undertake to hold all our contractual prices unchanged for a minimum period of three years.

Because of our considerable experience and our premier position in the industry we are often asked to provide expert witness services to the Courts in cases of disputes relating to fires in ventilation systems.
